Vintage Sports-Car Club – probably the best motoring club in the world, it organises a full programme of race meetings, sprints, hill-climbs, trials, driving tests and navigational rallies primarily for sports-cars built pre-1931 and selected high-quality sports-cars (PVTs) built prior to 1941. Austin Seven Clubs Association – founded in 1969, it aims to co-ordinate the activities of the various A7 member clubs throughout the UK and the rest of the world. It also produces a high-quality quarterly magazine, organises anniversary events and maintains an archive of historic material. Austin Seven Forum – an informal discussion forum for A7 enthusiasts world-wide. Here you can often find valuable advice and help with A7-related problems. Austin Seven Competition History – The Cars and Those Who Drove Them. This remarkable book gives details of almost every event in which Austin Sevens competed between 1922 and 1939, not only in the UK but also the world over. This comprehensive reference work is produced to a vey high standard and includes a wealth of superb photographs. Pre-War Austin Seven Club – the largest international club purely for A7s, it promotes a wide variety of competitive events, runs, rallies and regional social meetings throughout the UK. As well as producing a monthly magazine, it provides technical advice and valuation & authentication services. Brooklands Centre, 750 Motor Club – the Brooklands Centre is one of the more active Austin Seven centres in the 750 Club. They run a full calendar of various events, from local road runs to continental motoring holidays and treasure hunts to trials. Vintage Knowledge – a wonderful site set up by pre-war car enthusiasts for other enthusiasts who enjoy using their pre-war cars. It has a very good selection of technical hints & tips and a gallery of action shots mainly from VSCC events as well as a host of other topics. Pre War Car – a daily magazine and marketplace dedicated to the pre-1940 car. Seven Links – Austin Seven information on the internet; a classified list of websites compiled by Geoffrey Redman. American Austin & Bantam – website dedicated to the American Austin including the pre-war Austin Seven and the American Bantam. |
